Enable Position Location
On Your Phone
Step 1:
From the opening screen on the handset, press "OK" to select "Menu".
Step 2:
Use the Rocker to scroll right to the "Settings & Tools" category.
Step 3:
Scroll down to "System" or “Phone Settings" (depending on phone model) and press "OK". Note: On some phones, the ‘Location’ setting is located elsewhere; please refer to your User Guide for information on how to find this setting on your phone.
Step 4:
Scroll down to "Location" and press "OK".
Step 5:
Select "Location On" and press "OK".
Step 6:
The Location On icon (location on icon) appears at the top of the screen to tell you the setting is correct. Turning Location On does not allow anyone to locate your phone. The user must still opt-in to a location application request, based on the privacy settings established, before that application can acquire the phone's location. Verizon Wireless strongly believes in protecting the user's privacy.

Select GPS Services and change the option to Location On
